July Arty News - New Workshop Dates
July whizzed by too quickly. Before I was ready for the month to end, I was off on holiday with my family in Ireland, and I had missed my deadline for this month’s Arty News. Here it is…
I’m currently working on developing artwork from a couple of events and have new dates for workshops for this autumn.
This month has been filled with crafty creations as I prepare for Art on the Prom, Felixstowe. This year, the event will take place on the 1st September. You will find Felixstowe’s promenade come alive with a melee of over 90 artists stalls, street performers, musicians, street food sellers, and creative activities. It is a huge community event which sees over 20,000 visitors to the town. I will be starting at dawn on the day of the event but for those of you looking to peruse the artwork, sample some delicious treats and enjoy the music and performances, they will begin at 10 a.m. and continue until 6 p.m.
I have been enjoying creating again for this event, eco-printing silk and creating cyanotypes ready for selling on my stall. You will be able to see my progress over the next few weeks as I share more on my Instagram page - @clothbotanicals

I will have a range of textile artworks for sale on my stall at Art on the Prom, including felt and embroidered art, handicrafts, silk scarves, necklaces and bracelets, inspiration packs, and cards.
I am excited to share two more workshop with you for the first half of the autumn term. These will take place at Mrs. I Crafts, Trimley St. Mary.
