New Workshop Dates and Exhibitions
A brand new season of workshop are ready to share, with the first only a few short weeks away.
Creative Sketchbook Pages is back for another round. During this workshop, we will explore creative approaches using a range of techniques, including mark-making with water-soluble drawing tools, collage, simple monoprinting and stencils to develop exciting pages.

I will also be returning with the Wet Felted Landscapes workshop, where we will explore Nuno felting techniques for texture and detail to create colourful landscapes. Working with fabrics, yarns and other types of fibres we will create layers of interest in our landscape-inspired pieces.

I’m excited to share a brand-new workshop too: Melt and Burn is all about exploring materials that react with heat. We will work with paint and collage materials to develop colourful patterns and designs on paper and explore the magic of Tyvek, creating beads and textured pieces to make eye-catching embellishments.

Workshops will take place at Mrs I Crafts in Trimley St. Mary, near Felixstowe, Suffolk.

As I write, I am delighted to be sitting in the 142 Gallery, Hamilton Road, Felixstowe, where I am exhibiting new work along with three other artists: Tracy Hetherington, Carolyn Hinchliffe and Lisa Dale, for our fourth annual exhibition at the gallery as Suffolk Arts and Crafts Collective. The exhibition is on until Wednesday, 9th April.
This time, we have brought a collection of paintings, ceramics, textiles, and mixed media artworks, inspired by the people and places, nature and landscape here in Suffolk. There is something for everyone.
Here is a quick tour...
Thanks for reading my post. If you have attended one of my workshops in the past few months or visited any of the exhibitions I have been part of, I am sending you a huge thank you for supporting me as an artist and small business. You make it possible for me to keep going and do the things I love.
Hope to see you again soon,
Love Sarah x
